Manchester United's Amad Diallo to return to training next week

Amad Diallo is set to return and boost Manchester United's European ambitions, according to reports.
Diallo has been sidelined since sustaining an ankle injury in February that was initially expected to curtail his campaign.
Ruben Amorim has offered encouraging updates on Diallo’s progress in recent weeks, and it has now been revealed that he’s set to rejoin training.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano says that Diallo is set for a return to action.
"Amad Diallo, set to be back in training with Manchester United squad already next week," he announced.
"Despite initial expectations for the season to be over after injury, he’s recovered in record-time, and so Amad will be available for training from next week, he said on his X page.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a breakout season at Manchester United, in which he has scored six Premier League goals and provided six assists, having been on loan in previous seasons.
The Ivory Coast international scored crucial late goals to earn results against Manchester City and Liverpool, in addition to a first Premier League hat-trick, scored inside the final eight minutes, as United came from behind to beat Southampton at Old Trafford.
Manchester United face Athletic Bilbao in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final on Thursday night and it will be hoped that Diallo can feature before the campaign concludes as they aim to salvage a season that threatens to implode following a disappointing domestic campaign.
